Protect your child with a pool fence

Preventative measures are always your safest bet. It's so much better to put in the work to protect your child than to have to react as a rescuer.

• Install a four–sided pool fence, with self–closing and self–latching gates, around backyard swimming pools. This can help keep children away from the area when they aren’t supposed to be swimming and to protect them.
• Teach children basic water skills and safety.
• Supervise children in the pool.
• Remove pool toys from the area when the pool isn't in use.
